Race Week Information
The Marathon course starts and finishes in downtown Greensboro and incorporates
26.2 miles of scenic and historic sites and neighborhoods.
On race day, Saturday, May 3, 2008, a VIP Hospitality Section will be provided
for with a catered menu and FREE Red Oak Beer to all ticket holders. Tickets may
be purchased ahead of time or onsite (for a limited number of people).
Race Week officially kicks off on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Awards Banquet
for Reflections of the Heart Art & Essay Contest for children experiencing
foster care in Guilford County, N.C. Our Guest Speaker is Ashley Rhodes Courter,
former foster child and author of Three Little Words.
