MANDATORY VOLUNTEER TRAINING DATES:
ALL volunteers (INCLUDING WATER STATION TEAMS) must attend a training session. Please pick a convenient date & time to learn emergency contingencies, race schedule & safety issues. Refreshments will be served.
Training at Allen Jay Recreation Center, 1073 East Springfield Road in High Point:
- Sunday, March 7 at 3:00 pm
- Monday, March 8 at 12 Noon
- Monday, March 8 at 6:00 pm
Training at United Healthcare Headquarters, 3803 N. Elm Street in Greensboro:

The City of High Point, North Carolina, will host the 3rd annual
UnitedHealthcare NC Marathon on March 20, 2010. Our 2009 Race was a huge success and raised a significant amount of money to support the mission and programs of
Foster Friends of North Carolina.
The marathon, half-marathon, and family 5k feature scenic, rolling courses with a distinctive, exciting start, finish, and post-race celebration at Showplace,
home of the biannual International Furniture Market.
 Want to qualify for Boston? We are a Boston Marathon Qualifying event, our USATF certification, #NC-09020-PH.
Want to help? We need you! It takes more than 500 volunteers to put on an event this big. Visit our volunteers page, click on the Volunteer Application, fill it out and send or fax it to us, 323-1366.
